Olympiacos inks Milosevic too
Οlympiacos Piraeus has nearly completed its roster for the 2008-09 season with the addition of point guard Igor Milosevic, the club announced on Saturday. Milosevic (192, 22) was born in Belgrade, but grew up in Thessaloniki, Greece, playing with Iraklis (2003-05). He has a Greek passport and has played for the Greek junior and young men’s national teams. In 2005, Milosevic moved to Red Star Belgrade, where he played for three seasons, before coming back to Greece now. He helped Red Star win the 2005-06 Serbian National Cup. Milosevic was sidelined throughout the 2007-08 season due to a serious injury, but in 2006-07 he averaged 4.2 points and 1.7 assists in 12 ULEB Cup appearances and 4.8 points and 1.6 assists in the Adriatic League.
